Caring for the needs of the underprivileged through sustainable development and short term encouragement

This was one of the families in the "Pig Scheme" Program. Ha Ying is a widow with 3 children. Her husband passed away from liver cancer when her youngest son was just born in 2009. We are now helping with her living expense while 2 of her children are still in primary school. This is a lovely family whom wants to stand on their own feet ...not easy after a major set back in life and grief!

She raised her first batch of 2 piglets in our 'Pig Scheme Programme' and sold them to help pay for her daughter's school boarding fees for one semester as well as fixing her house a little.  She continued on raising 3 more batches of pigs as well as running a small store in her village.

We witnessed the changes in her family all these years and all we did was gave a little help and encouragement when she needed it the most!  That's what we believe in Go2Serve Foundation - caring for the underprivileged and helping them to be self-sustaining one day!  Would you help us to bring changes in Yao families one by one?
